To create skincare that was free of synthetic ingredients, hormone-disrupting preservatives, and harsh chemicals. Non-toxic skincare that nourishes and hydrates, naturally.

In my twenties, I embraced every new skincare trend. I got botox. I bought products based on their marketing, not their ingredients. I didn’t consider what I was putting into my body, nor did I realize the harm it was doing. My bathroom cupboard was filled with big-brand beauty products packed with synthetic fragrances and chemicals. I trusted them blindly.

Then came my son. Motherhood changes you in ways you can’t imagine. I felt a deep instinct to protect my baby. As my family grew, I became increasingly aware of the harmful ingredients lurking in our everyday products. The more I learned, the more determined I became to make my own. I was captivated by the chemistry of botanicals, oils, and natural ingredients. My kitchen became my lab, where I experimented, created, and found effective, safe solutions for my household.

When I discovered the incredible benefits of tallow for skin, I was intrigued. Beef fat? Really? I dove into research and learned that tallow has been used in skincare for centuries. Ancient civilizations like the Egyptians, Romans, Greeks, and Chinese relied on it to maintain youthful skin and treat conditions like eczema, psoriasis, and dryness. Inspired by this ancient wisdom, I decided to create my own tallow-based moisturizer.

What started as a fun hobby soon became a passion project. I made countless tallow balms, experimenting with recipes, refining measurements, and blending them with different natural ingredients. I shared my creations with friends and gathered their feedback. My goal was clear: to create a skincare superfood with high-quality ingredients, a soothing scent, and a silky texture.

After countless versions, I finally cracked the code.

The result was a tallow balm that checked every box. My skin had never looked clearer or felt healthier. It became my all-in-one solution: a moisturizer, primer, lip balm, treatment for cracked heels and nipples, and even a remedy for baby rashes. It was a true multitasker.

I shared it with friends, and their feedback was overwhelming—they loved it just as much as I did. They kept coming back for more.

That’s when La Mucca was born. My fifth baby.

It’s the culmination of countless experiments, revisions, and love.
And now, I’m so grateful to share it with you.
